When everyone else says "can't reach there," we're already planning the route. That's just how we roll at Kytherion Spire.
Back in 2012, our founder Marcus was stuck at a mining site in northern BC, waiting three weeks for critical equipment that kept getting bumped off regular freight schedules. That's when the lightbulb went off - someone's gotta specialize in the "impossible" deliveries.
We launched Kytherion Spire with two leased trucks and a borrowed cargo drone (yeah, seriously). Fast forward to today, we've moved everything from transformer units to entire research stations into places most people can't find on a map.
The name? "Kytherion" roughly translates to "governing force" in Greek, and "Spire" represents reaching those high-altitude destinations. Pretentious? Maybe a bit. But it stuck, and now we've kinda grown into it.
Started in a garage with more ambition than sense. First contract was delivering solar panels to a remote research station. We learned real quick that Google Maps doesn't work everywhere.
Partnered with helicopter operators and got serious about high-altitude work. Moved our first excavator to a mountain mining site at 2,800 meters. The pilot still tells that story at parties.
Added customs brokerage after dealing with too many delayed shipments at the border. Now we handle all that paperwork ourselves - it's boring but somebody's gotta do it right.
Built our own tracking system when off-the-shelf solutions couldn't handle remote areas with spotty coverage. Also added temperature monitoring for pharmaceutical clients.
35 employees, partnerships across three provinces, and we're handling stuff that'd make our 2012 selves laugh. Still based in Vancouver, still saying yes to the weird requests.
Look, we're not gonna feed you some corporate mission statement full of synergy and paradigm shifts. Here's the deal: we get your stuff where it needs to go, even when the destination makes other logistics companies nervous.
Whether it's a construction site on a mountain ridge, a research outpost in the territories, or a time-sensitive medical shipment that can't wait for regular routes - if there's a way to get it there, we'll figure it out. That's not marketing speak, that's literally what we do every day.
Founder & CEO
Former mining equipment coordinator who got tired of dealing with logistics companies that couldn't handle remote work. Now runs the show and still occasionally hops in a truck when we're short-staffed.

Operations Director
Ex-military logistics officer who joined us in 2016. She's the one who keeps our chaos organized and makes sure drivers actually follow the routes we plan. Also makes the best coffee in the office.

Customs & Compliance Lead
Licensed customs broker who somehow makes border paperwork less painful. Joined us after getting fed up with big freight companies where nobody knew his name. Here, he's irreplaceable.

Tech & Tracking Systems
Software engineer who built our tracking system from scratch. She's why you can actually see where your cargo is, even when it's halfway up a mountain with sketchy satellite coverage.

Plus 31 more amazing folks in dispatch, driving, warehouse operations, and client services. We'd list everyone but this page is already getting long.
No phone trees, no waiting forever. Real person picks up during business hours. Crazy concept, we know.
What we quote is what you pay. No surprise fees showing up on the invoice later. We've been on the receiving end of that nonsense and hated it.
Got a weird shipment? Tight deadline? Impossible location? We'll figure something out instead of just saying no.
Got cargo that needs moving? Let's talk about making it happen.
